Money is Good!
 
There is a prevalent belief that money and people who have money are arrogant, selfish, greedy, and in a word bad. This belief puts up road blocks to our own ability to make, spend, save, and share money.
 
What is the difference in these things?
 
A Mansion or a Mobile Home - both put a roof over your head, don't they?
 
A Lamborghini  or a Hyundai, both get your where you want to go, right?
 
Flying First Class or Coach, the entire plane lands at the same airport, doesn't it?
 
Dom Perione  or a beer, both will give you a buzz.
 
A Mansion, Lamborghini, Flying First Class, and Dom Perione are all the finer things in life. They are more comfortable, stylish, fun, beautiful, healthy, and sexy.
 
Now, I know that some of you are saying I like a beer, a Hyundai, or a mobile home, Great! What money gives is a choice. Never having to say I can't afford it is a wooonderfuuul feeling. Being able to be generous on every occasion with family, friends, or charities. Being generous to yourself is a way of giving back to you for all your hard work. 
 
What do most people stress about? Lack of Money. What do most people complain about? Lack of Money. What do most people fight about? Lack of Money. What is one of our greatest fears? Lack of Money. Losing our job, not having business, prices going up, and not being able to provide for our families and ourselves are our biggest fears. 
 
Now, go out and make MONEY day!

This is a wonderful time of year. It is the perfect time to demonstrate the power of expectations.
 
I asked my Grandson Mason what he wanted for Christmas, and boy he had a list (he makes a wish board). There is no doubt in his mind that he will get what he asks for. He knows he will get what's on his list. He even tells me how he will use some of the gifts. He wants Legos and explains how he will put them together. Ask any child, they know they will get what they want, they even say Thank You in advance by putting out cookies and treats for Santa.
 
This is the power of  Expectation in action.
 
There are other examples in our lives that show that we use expectation without doubt. A woman expecting a baby does not wait until it is born to put together a nursery, see a doctor, or start choosing names. They start right away.
 
Whatever you desire, whatever your goals are, and whatever amount of money you want to make, start expecting it. 
 
Now there is one catch, you have to know what you want!
 
Have you ever asked someone what they wanted for Christmas and they didn't know? It is extremely difficult for you to fullfill a desire that is not expressed. The same applies to your desires and goals.
 
Whatever you want, you need to ask for it! Be specific. "If you don't know where you are going you might wind up someplace else."  - Yogi Berra      
 
When you are specific when asking for your desires you can start expecting right away. Start preparing for what you want. Just like a woman expecting a baby starts getting ready for the arrival, start preparing for the arrival of what you have asked for. This preparation will actually hasten the manifestation of what you want, and say Thank You in advance.

We have all been bullied, maybe in school, work, or in our neighborhoods. We have learned how to handle these people. There is however a Bully we let push us around, control our lives and interrupt our sleep.
 
That Bully is the fear.
 
That Bully stops you from making calls.
 
That Bully tells you to back off on your marketing because the economy is bad. 
 
That Bully tells you that you can't afford coaching or self-improvement tapes.
 
That Bully makes you avoid difficult clients or co-workers.
 
That Bully tells you "Get a regular job, you're not making it here".
 
These and other Bullies' can keep you from succeeding if you allow them. Just like the kid in school that takes other kids' lunch money, these Bullies take money right out of your pocket by instilling fear and doubt in your mind.
 
Now we all know the best way to stop a Bully is to confront him and take him on. Control your fears and face them head on. When you want to improve yourself, send out marketing, or make difficult calls and the Bully tells you not to because: business is bad, people are mean, the economy stinks, you will be rejected, waste money or have people laugh at you. Think  to yourself "I will not be Bullied by fear" then do what you need to do to become a phenomenal success!
 
Do not allow ANYTHING to stand in the way of your success!  Especially a Bully!

*Use body language effectively. Smile, turn twards people, lean in, keep your body language open and

*Convey the impression that everyone you come in contact with is important to you. Treat eveyone like you are meeting like the celebrity you always wanted to meet.

*Make eye contact with the people you meet.

                   All GOOD athletes work hard to get in condition. They work out, lift weights, eat right and take care of their bodies to keep themselves in optimum condition to compete in their sport. GOOD athletes practice and get the best equipment. This is why they are GOOD athletes and why they will stay GOOD athletes. They might get better at their sport but they need one more thing to become GREAT athletes.  

                   GREAT athletes do all of the above and they add an additional conditioning. That is mental conditioning or NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming). This is why you hear people say "There is just something about him(or her) he has that spark.

                   Neuro-Linguistic Programming is the study of how language, words, phrases, body language affect the brain. What does the brain do? The brain makes decisions, governs emotions and feelings, and directs actions. Clearly you can see if you integrate these principles and techniques into your training, you are going to have a powerful impact on your decisions, emotions and feelings, and actions. That will have a powerful impact on your performance.

                   When you control the master system of your mind and learn how to visualize, self-talk, and psych yourself up and not out you are going to increase the level of your performance dramatically.

                   This mental conditioning shows you how to build a mental wall that keeps negative influences and distractions out and keeps your focus on your game and on winning. In athletics you only have to be a little bit better in all the key areas of your sport to have that winning edge. NLP allows you to have that by improving your ability first in your mind and then it naturally transmits to your body. You move from average to the top 20% and as your mental strength increases so do your skills and you move on to the top 10%. That's when people start asking you "How do you do it?"
